According to the original sewn-in tailor's label, the garment dates to December 1905. There are multiple stains, small holes and other signs of age and wear throughout the jacket; the detailed photographs show examples, but additional similar areas are present. The interior lining also shows age-related holes, staining and wear. The main fabric and stitching remain generally well preserved and the jacket appears theoretically wearable; however, due to its age and existing wear, it is offered primarily as a historical collector's garment.
